We have come to know that quota of schools, colleges and universities has been fixed. School children will also be lined up. This is the attitude of the BJP. 100 teachers have been asked to come from each block. All the hoardings there are not from any committee.We feel this visit should not become a link to the election campaign of the US President. The outcome of this visit should be in national interest.
सर्वप्रथम आप सभी को महाशिवरात्रि की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं। ये पूरे देश के लिए काफी महत्वपूर्ण दिन है, अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति DonaldTrump भारत की यात्रा पर आ रहे हैं। भारत-अमेरिका के सामरिक संबंध है। कांग्रेस भारत-अमेरिका के संबंधों को समझती है और इन रिश्तों का समर्थन करती है, अमरीकी राष्ट्रपति की ये यात्रा दोनों देशों के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है- रक्षा, आर्थिक, परमाणु ऊर्जा, अंतरिक्ष कृषि और तकनीक के क्षेत्र में साझीदारी और सहयोग की दृष्टि से। हमारी सोच है कि इस यात्रा के सकारात्मक नतीजे निकलें और दिखने चाहिए, अमरीकी राष्ट्रपति की ये यात्रा दोनों देशों के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है- रक्षा, आर्थिक, परमाणु ऊर्जा, अंतरिक्ष कृषि और तकनीक के क्षेत्र में साझीदारी और सहयोग की दृष्टि से। हमारी सोच है कि इस यात्रा के सकारात्मक नतीजे निकलें और दिखने चाहिए, अभी हाल ही में घटित कुछ घटनाओं की परछाई दोनों देशों के संबंधों पर है। अमेरिका ने भारत के साथ महत्वपूर्ण साझीदारी के होते हुए भी GSP को खत्म कर दिया। इससे भारत में उत्पादित चीजों को कम टैरिफ पर अमेरिकी बाजार में जाने का अवसर खत्म हो गया है, इस यात्रा में तीन चीजों को ध्यान में रखना जरूरी है-  राष्ट्र की संप्रभुता, आत्मसम्मान और राष्ट्र हित। इस तरह के दौरों में गंभीरता होनी चाहिए, न कि सिर्फ फोटो तक सीमित रहे, जैसा कि DonaldTrump ने कहा है कि उनके narendramodi से अच्छे संबंध है और प्रधानमंत्री ने उनको 50-70 लाख लोगों द्वारा स्वागत के लिए आश्वस्त किया है। ऐसे में हमें उम्मीद है कि देश के लंबित मुद्दों जैसे H1B1 वीजा, GSP का समाधान निकलेगा, अहमदाबाद में ट्रंप के स्वागत के लिए गरीब का अपमान किया गया; दीवार बनाकर उसकी गरीबी को ढका गया। ये भाजपा सरकार की मानसिकता है।

मगर जब देश बापू की 150वीं जयंती मना रहा है और बापू तो सादगी के प्रतीक थे और दरिद्र को नारायण मानते रहे हैं। ये बापू का सम्मान नहीं होगा भारत सरकार का दावा है कि सारा प्रबंधन एक "नागरिक अभिनंदन समिति" द्वारा किया जा रहा है। क्या DonaldTrump इस समिति के निमंत्रण पर भारत आ रहे हैं? ये समिति कब बनी, पंजीकरण कब हुआ, इतना पैसा कहाँ से आया?

वास्तविकता ये है कि सारा पैसा भारत और गुजरात सरकार का है

गुजरात सरकार ने ही सारी अप्रूवल्स दी हैं। मोटेरा स्टेडियम को किराये पर लिया गया है, सारे देश से कलाकार आ रहे हैं। ये एक समिति के वश में नहीं है। अहमदाबाद म्युनिसिपल कारपोरेशन को विशेष ग्रांट दी गई है। हमें इस पर आपत्ति नहीं है, मगर सरकार को झूठ नहीं बोलना चाहिए, हमें जानकारी मिली है कि स्कूल, कॉलेज, यूनिवर्सिटीज का कोटा फिक्स हुआ है। स्कूल के बच्चों को भी लाइन में खड़ा किया जाएगा। ये भाजपा का दृष्टिकोण है। हर ब्लॉक से 100 अध्यापकों को आने के लिए कहा गया है। वहाँ जो भी होर्डिंग्स है, वो किसी समिति के नहीं हैं , हमारा यही कहना है कि ये यात्रा अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति के चुनाव प्रचार की कड़ी नहीं बननी चाहिए। इसके नतीजे राष्ट्रहित में होने चाहिए.

This is a very important day for the whole country, US President Donald Trump is coming to India. India and USA have a strategic relationship. Congress understands Indo-US relations and supports it: This visit by the US President is important for both countries - in terms of partnership and cooperation in the fields of defense, economy, nuclear energy, space, agriculture and technology. We feel positive results of this visit should be seen: Some recent events have cast a shadow on Indo-US  relationship. USA abolished the GSP despite being in an important partnership with India. This eliminates the opportunity for goods produced in India to enter the US market at low costs.Three things that need to be kept in mind in this journey are- sovereignty, self-respect and national interest of India. Such tours should be serious, not limited to photos ops, As DonaldTrump has said, he has a good relationship with PM Narendra Modi and he has been assured that he will be welcomed by 50-70 lakh people. In such a situation, we hope that the pending issues of the country like H1B1 visa, GSP etc will be resolved. Poor have been were insulted for the reception of President Trump in Ahmedabad, poverty covered by building a wall. This is the mindset of the BJP government. Govt of India claims that the visit is being managed by Nagrik Abhinandan Samiti. Is Donald Trump coming to India at the invitation of this committee? When was this committee formed, when did registration take place, where did so much money come from?The reality is that all the money belongs to the Government of India and Gujarat. Gujarat govt has given all approvals, Motera Stadium has been hired, artists from all over India are coming. It's not under control of a committee. A special grant has been given to Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.
