Supporters were battling long lines and extreme heat in the hopes of catching a glimpse of the former president, Trump, as well as Adam Laxalt, Sheriff Joe Lombardo, Mark Amodei, Jim Marchant, Sigal Chattah, Michele Fiore, and many more.

The airport is about five miles north of Minden. It is home to the Sierra Front Interagency Dispatch Center and a regional firefighting air tanker base.
