Today, Vice President Kamala Harris will travel to the Midlands. She is visiting South Carolina State University. This comes less than one year after President Joe Biden spoke to the school's fall 2021. According to the university, it welcomed its largest freshman class in 15 years this fall. Vice President Kamala Harris is expected to speak about the importance of voting and other topics affecting young people. As HBCU alums, students are hoping VP Kamala Harris will acknowledge this personal connection to the student body. What to Know About Migrants Dropped Off at Vice President Kamala Harris's Residence in DC Today?

Photo credit: Gage Skidmore/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr There has been some breaking news for you; there have been immigrants by bus outside Vice President Kamala Harris's residence in DC today. They are just outside her home. I would say more than a dozen. I don't know if there are multiple hundred people outside on the lawn there. But not a small number of people outside the White House but Vice President Harris's home address. The potential for another contention between governor Greg Abbott's cities is that he has a home for those who have crossed illegally into the country, drawing the attention of the federal government that's what he says. His intentions are to make sure that they know exactly which border towns along our border with Mexico are actually dealing with the inundation of people and a lack of resources. Migrant buses arrive in front of Vice President Kamala Harris's home in Washington, D.C. Washington, DC's mayor, Muriel Bowser, has now as

Greg Abbott—one migrant told me he believes the border is "open." We are looking at a bus right now on its way to Kamala Harris's house. The migrants were on that bus, and now this bus was sent directly to Kamala Harris's house, the vice president's residence. We don't know what is going to happen once they get off of this bus in Washington. We are monitoring this and who is on this bus because, of course, we know that Kamala Harris hasn't done anything about the wide-open border. The other day, she said it was secure. So perhaps she'll change her mind once we see who gets off of this bus. They obviously are on the bus from Texas now in Washington, D.C., right in Kamala Harris's neighborhood, so let's see who's getting off this bus train no

Kamala Harris Response After Being Elected Democratic Vice Presidential Nominee | Joe Biden

Kamala harris I am coming to you today with some big news: I’m honored to join Joe Biden in the fight for the soul of our country as the Democratic Vice Presidential Nominee. Joe is a leader who can unify the American people, because he's spent his life fighting for the American people. And as president, he will build an America that lives up to our ideals. My mom and dad, like so many other immigrants, came to this country for an education. My mother from India and my dad from Jamaica. And the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s brought them together. Some of my earliest memories are from that time: My parents being attacked by police with hoses, fleeing for safety, with me strapped tightly in my stroller. That spirit of activism is why my mother, Shyamala, would always tell my sister and me, “Don’t just sit around and complain about things. Do something.” That’s why I became a District Attorney and fought to fix a broken system from within. Why I served as California’s Attorney Ge
