Photo credit: Gage Skidmore/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr On the 22nd anniversary of the tragic 9/11 terrorist attacks, former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard took to her social media platforms to question why President Joe Biden was notably absent from Ground Zero in New York City. Her message was clear: she believes that the Biden administration might want Americans to move on from this historic event and focus on other issues, including new, potentially more lucrative wars. In a video transcript shared on her social media handles, Gabbard expressed her disappointment over President Biden's absence at the site of Ground Zero, where the Twin Towers once stood. She posed the question, "Why not?" suggesting that perhaps the President wishes to divert public attention from the events of 9/11, its perpetrators, and the motives behind the attacks. Gabbard's concern revolves around the notion that the Biden administration aims to shift the nation's focus away from the long-sta

However, when asked if wealthy people are leaving to be nearer to such centers, she replied that she did not believe that many people were fleeing the city. Mr. Kennedy countered that there were thousands leaving, citing multiple studies. Dr. Clausing noted that she could not speak to why particular individuals were leaving. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) spoke to members of the NYPD and touted his law and order and education policies. Ron DeSantis, the Governor of Florida, recently gave a speech in NYC where he criticized what he referred to as "feckless politicians" who attack police. He argued that police officers risk their lives and should not have to face criticism from politicians who are "out showboating."  DeSantis also criticized the defund the police movement and said that it was an attempt to harness anti-police sentiment to cut the police force and replace police officers with social workers. He argued that social workers would not be able to respond to certain crimes and that police officers are necessary for public safety. Nancy Pelosi 'savagely booed' during the Global Citizen Festival at Central Park in New York on Sept. 24, 2022.

Photo credit: Gage Skidmore/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr House Speaker Pelosi receives an interesting greeting in New York City as she makes a surprise appearance at a music festival. She's one of the first guests on the new show on Hulu, Power Trip.  She showed off her fitness with a brisk walk, with George Stephanopoulos talking about how Republicans will destroy democracy if the power goes to the GOP In November. On her walk with Stephanopoulos, Speaker Pelosi can huff and puff about how democracy could die and the fate of the planet is at stake in a midterm election. I think a lot of the noise that you're hearing from the Democrats is sort of their admission that they know they are in some trouble, so they are throwing these distractions to try to get people scared and motivate their folks. It comes down to inflation, the economy, and republicans. The democrats' message now is MAGA extremism, the first point they have. The next point they have is that, basically, climate

Donald Trump Lawyers Accuse New York AG Of Advancing 'Political Agenda' With Lawsuit

Donald Trump We are seeing a response from former President Donald Trump, the Trump organization, and his allies after a civil suit by the NY AG. Let me read you more of the statement from the Trump organization. In addition to everything that you just laid out, it's notable that the statement talks about the crime rates in New York, saying, "All of this is happening while New York continues to decline with rising violent crime rates, which we have not seen in decades. Their team said, "It's all about politics, pure and simple. The good people of New York should be disgusted. I want to read a little bit of what we got from a Trump spokesperson who sends this on behalf of one of his attorneys, who writes, Today's filing is neither focused on the facts nor the law. It's on advancing the attorney general's political agenda. It's abundantly clear the attorney general's office has exceeded its statutory authority by prying into transactions where absolu

Photo credit: Gage Skidmore/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr US President Joe Biden To Address Putin’s Nuclear Threats At The UN General Assembly In New York. And the war will be a major focus of President Biden's address to the U.N. General Assembly this morning. What might Joe Biden say at his UNGA 77 address, given this breaking news? I think you can expect to hear him reiterate that if Vladimir Putin were to use nuclear or chemical weapons, the U.S. would respond with severe consequences. But here is the question: What do those severe consequences look like? Of course, President Biden has taken the possibility of sending US troops into Ukraine to fight this war very seriously, and so he is keeping that piece of it very close to the vest. But I am told this will be a forceful speech. The goal is going to be to rally support around Ukraine. This is a war that is now stretching into its seventh month. The US has committed more than $15 billion. So keeping up that support for Ukraine is

Ron Desantis in the November general election, while prominent New York Democrats Jerry Nadler and Carolyn Maloney fight for a newly created congressional district. Primaries are being held in both Florida and New York, and both of these primaries could have a strong influence on the national political landscape for years to come. Voters in Florida's senate race will decide which Democrat will challenge incumbent Republican Senator Marco Rubio. U.S. Representative Val Demings is currently seen as the front-runner in the Democratic primary. According to Florida politics, the Demings campaign posted more than $12 million in donations for the 2nd quarter. Senator Rubio raised more than $4 million in November's matchup and is currently thought to be one of the most competitive races for a US Senate seat in the nation. Polls opened in New York in t
