The event, which spanned from Brooks Bridge to Navarre Beach Bridge, featured U.S. Congressman Matt Gaetz as the Grand Marshal, adding a high-profile presence to the parade. Event Details The parade officially kicked off at 9 a.m., starting on the east side of Brooks Bridge. Boats began lining up as early as 8:30 a.m. near Sunset Isle Resort and Yacht Club on Okaloosa Island, just next to the Elk’s Lodge. The lead boat, the American Spirit, guided the flotilla through the picturesque waters of Fort Walton Beach, eventually making its way to the west side of Navarre Bridge before looping back.
