समाजवादी पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष एवं पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री श्री अखिलेश यादव ने कहा है कि पांच राज्यों में मिली पराजय के बाद भाजपा विघटनकारी नीतियों पर उतर आई है। भाजपा समाजवादी पार्टी से घबराई हुई है इसलिए समाजवादी पार्टी के विरूद्ध बड़ी साजिशें कर रही है। वह प्रचार माध्यमों पर कब्जा कर रही है। वादों को न निभाने से भाजपा के प्रति जनता में भारी रोष है। नए वर्ष में समाजवादी साइकिल से गांव-गांव में जाकर भाजपा के कारनामों से जनता को अवगत कराएंगे और समाजवादी पार्टी की नीतियों तथा समाजवादी सरकार की उपलब्धियों की जानकारी जन-जन तक पहुंचाएंगे।

BJP ने ई-रिक्शा पर पाबंदी लगाने का निर्णय लिया, ई-रिक्शा चालकों ने अखिलेश को सौंपा ज्ञापन।

श्री यादव आज पिछड़ा वर्ग समाज की बैठक को सम्बोधित कर रहे थे। उन्होंने कहा कि पिछड़ा वर्ग के साथ भी न्याय हो। आबादी के हिसाब से भागीदारी हक और सम्मान सबको मिलना चाहिए। गन्ना धान किसान तबाह है। किसान को धान की कीमत नहीं मिली। गन्ना किसानों को बकाया नहीं मिला और न ही गन्ना मूल्य में वृद्धि हुई। आलू किसान की खरीद नहीं हुई। खाद, डीजल मंहगा है। किसानों की कर्जमाफी की घोषणाएं अधूरी हैं। किसानों का पूरा कर्ज माफ होना चाहिए। कृषि उत्पादन की खरीद की कोई योजना नहीं है।

श्री अखिलेश यादव ने कहा कि किसानों पर 12 लाख 70 हजार करोड़ का कर्ज है। 45 लाख किसानों ने खेती छोड़ दी, वे दिहाड़ी मजदूरी करने को मजबूर हैं। फसल बीमा योजना में किसानों को कोई फायदा नहीं हुआ, बीमा कम्पनियां मालामाल हो गई। सन् 2014 से 2018 तक 26500 बेरोजगारों ने आत्महत्या की। भारत में 7 करोड़ दुकानदार हैं। इनका नोटबंदी-जीएसटी से व्यापार चैपट हुआ है। उत्तर प्रदेश में निवेशकों ने कोई उद्योग नहीं लगाया है।
श्री यादव ने कहा कि भाजपा जनहित के बजाय कारपोरेट घरानों के हितों की चिंता करती है। गुजरात के हीरा व्यापारियों के लिए बुलेट ट्रेन चलाने की योजना है। सियाचिन में प्रतिदिन 2 जवानों की ठण्ड से मौत हो जाती है। उन्हें पर्याप्त सामग्री भी नहीं उपलब्ध है। उन्होंने कहा कि राजनीति में दुष्प्रचार से भी लोकतंत्र प्रभावित होता है। आगामी चुनाव में किसान मुख्य मुद्दा रहेगा। समाज में जिस तरह से नफरत फैलाई जा रही है भाजपा के उस एजेण्डा का पर्दाफाश करना होगा। वर्तमान स्थितियों में राजनीति की दिशा से किसानों, गरीबों, नौजवानों, महिलाओं, छोटे उद्योग और कारोबारियों का क्या रिश्ता रह गया है?

श्री अखिलेश यादव ने कहा कि गरीब को भाजपा राज में कुछ भी हासिल नहीं हो सकता है। भाजपा राज में समाज को रूढ़िवादी बनाकर जड़ता पैदा करने की साजिश है। राजनीति में निष्ठा और ईमानदारी सर्वोपरि होती है। राजनीति का यह बुनियादी चरित्र है। समाज को बांटना और जातिवाद कभी लोकतंत्र के पक्ष में नहीं हो सकता है। वास्तविक मुद्दों से ध्यान हटाना पाप है। वादाखिलाफी भ्रष्टाचार हैं। समाज को गुमराह करना स्वस्थ लोकतंत्र के लिए खतरा है। भाजपा इसमें माहिर है। सन् 2019 के चुनावों में कार्यकर्ताओं की एकजुटता से भाजपा को सत्ता से बेदखल करना होगा।
