Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has recently fired back at the College Board over its proposed AP African-American Studies course, which he believes includes elements of "queer theory" and "intersectionality" that are not aligned with the education standards set by the Florida Department of Education.  DeSantis stated that the College Board was responsible for incorporating these elements into the course, and the Florida Department of Education deemed them inappropriate, instead opting for education over indoctrination.
