Watch President Joe Biden's 2022 Labor Day speech at Maier Festival Park in Milwaukee.
Milwaukee will be in the national spotlight today as US President Joe Biden is visiting Cream City and giving a speech at Labor Fest celebrating Labor Day 2022. And American Workers Governor Tony Evers says he will be introducing the president, who has had a campaign stop and receiving this afternoon visiting small businesses.
The governor says it is always a good thing to have a president in town. He said, "Obviously, President Biden is coming for Labor Day to talk about the importance of Labor, unions, and union labor, and in particular, my honor to be able to introduce President Joe Biden.
And when the president Biden's trip to Milwaukee was first announced, Republican gubernatorial Trump endorsed candidate Tim Michaels tweeted out this. Biden explained why he's trying to further drive up costs while forcing blue-collar workers to pay for everyone else's college degrees.
In his tweet, he said: Joe Biden is visiting Wisconsin today to campaign with Tony Evers. It’s no wonder that Evers is enlisting Biden’s support. They’re two peas in a pod – both career politicians with a disastrous record for Wisconsin.
