CPAC Dallas expects thousands of visitors over the weekend with former President Donald Trump closing out the conference Saturday.

The top key conservatives are in Dallas, TX today. It is the start of the conservative political action conference CPAC. Former President Donald Trump will headline the event with a speech this weekend, also appeared Governor Greg Abbott, Senator Ted Cruz, and representative Myra Flores.

Other speakers included Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, Tulsi Gabbard, Matt Gaetz, Sarah Palin, Mike Lindell, Ron DeSantis, Donald Trump Jr., Kimberly Guilfoyle, Candace Owens, Glenn Beck, Matt Schlapp, Mike Pompeo, Papa John, Sen. Rick Scott, Sean Spicer, Kevin Sorbo, Ben Carson, & more

The Hilton Anatole is a few minutes north of downtown Dallas and thousands of people are expected to pass through here this weekend. Talking about those 2022 midterm elections and the big message that you see on hats and T-shirts and Banners to try to energize voters for those elections is to fire House Speaker Nancy Pelosi Save America.

CPAC Texas 2022 is less a convention and more a Trump Rally for the conservative wing of the Republican Party. The exhibit hall is filled with boots for online media outlets and anything like clothing that's either pro-trump, Texas for Trump flag is over there or anti-Joe Biden or anti-abortion.

The Highlight though or conservative talk show hosts and lawmakers speaking across three days pushing talking points on the disproven idea that the election was stolen or immigration. Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick and Governor Greg Abbott both spoke. With Abbott focusing on business and immigration, Abbott didn't touch on Uvalde and gun control or abortion but talked about Republican efforts to control classroom curriculum.

The most protested speaker at the event was Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. Mr. Orban made headlines recently for a speech that was strongly against immigration and in favor of racial Purity. His loudest Applause line came as he spoke against gay marriage.

With the convention's goal of energizing Republicans, he criticized news outlets and focused on religion.
