Early voting is already underway and we're less than two weeks away from the actual Arizona Primary Election day and today a political showdown within the GOP. As former President Trump and his former Vice President Mike Pence threw their support behind different candidates at dueling rallies.

That's right that the former President and the former Vice President pair are now rivals when it comes to who they're supporting for the governor of Arizona. Their dueling rallies are going to be held today but of course in different locations, so it's unlikely that the two are going to cross paths.

Former President Trump is backing Kari Lake and will be rallying for her at the Toyota Center in Prescott Valley today. Meanwhile, former Vice president Pence is endorsing Kari Lake's opponent Karen Taylor Robson and they'll be attending two rallies tomorrow.
The first rally of Mike Pence at TYR tactical in Peoria and then that campaign will head down to Tucson and host a rally at the border patrol office there. Now Kari Lake and Karen Taylor Robson are the two front runners for the GOP ticket in next month's primary election. And recent polls show that Kari Lake's lead has narrowed over the past few months her double-digit edge over Taylor Robson now stands at only about five points.
Early voting has already begun and according to the Maricopa County recorder more than 275 thousand ballots have already been returned and counted the last day to request an early ballot is tomorrow and that's 10 days before the August 2nd primary election day.
