Former vice president Mike Pence is coming to Des Moines this week. He will have a busy agenda during his time in the central part of the state. Pence will be a special guest with a lunch with Senator Chuck Grassley to attend the Iowa state fair and visit the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition today. These stops are all to support candidates before the upcoming midterm elections in 2022.
Pence is scheduled to visit on August 19th and 20th. He will campaign and host a political rally with Grassley and other Republicans at the Iowa state fair during the day. Then take part in a fundraiser for U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley, U.S. House candidate Zach Nunn, and Bremer County Republicans; and a house party hosted by the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition, Politico reported.
He will also make an appearance in Cumming and Waverly, Iowa this Saturday. He is rumored to be considering a run for the presidency in 2024, which could put him in opposition to former President Donald Trump.
Is Mike Pence running for president?
