The lawsuit filed today is seeking $475 million in damages, alleging a quote against the former president had a fear that he would run for president again in 2024.   Last month, a federal judge dismissed the former president's lawsuit against Hillary Clinton, the Democratic National Committee, and other political opponents. In that lawsuit, Trump claimed there was a conspiracy to sabotage his 2016 presidential campaign by tying him to Russia.
